Ralph rushed up to me, grabbing me and pulling me out of the water immediately.

“Breathe…breathe. You're safe now.”

Father bent towards me, glaring starlight into my eyes.

“The ritual is complete. It's actually a miracle you made it out of that place alive.”

He turned, walking out of the basement.

“Wait!” I yelled, causing him to stop immediately.

“Did you see everything that happened in the trance?”
