“What the hell is going on here, Johnson?” Ralph asked as an expression of deep confusion etched upon our faces.

Johnson took his face away from us, avoiding eye contact.

“Johnson, talk to us. We deserve an explanation. I don't want to believe that we're being betrayed.”

“I needed to do it. You told me that we all have hope as long as we're alive. I guess this is my own version of hope.”
