The darkness pressed in around me, the feeling heavy and suffocating.

Then, like a strike of lightning across the void, I saw her.

Amelia.

She had both her wrists tied up and her head bowed low.

She was in a dark and dim room or cave, I couldn't tell, but I could see the terror etched into every line of her body.

Her eyes then lifted and found mine.
