I saw my life flash before my very eyes when that blade dropped down, but then in a blur I wasn't there anymore.

I was leaning against a wall, Lucifer holding me in his arms.

He stood up again and exchanged words with whoever, but I could barely register.

Then, the world broke into chaos the moment

Lucifer hit the ground.

One second he was standing… barely holding himself… and the next, his body crumpled like someone cut the strings holding him up.
