Amelia’s POV

I didn’t stop walking after I left Asher.

If I did, I knew I’d either turn back to face him and meet his death stare and maybe that sharp and cold mask I wore might break this time.

My boots struck quickly against the stone floor as I moved through the Summit halls, my pulse still hammering violently against my ribs.
