Lucifer’s POV

The moment Amelia and I stepped out of the chamber and onto the stone steps leading into the Summit courtyard, the world around us was in total chaos.

We heard the screams of wolves, shattering  glasses.

Wolves ran past us in a frenzy, from mere pack members, servants even a few guards too, running over one another to escape.

The sky above was already filled with smoke.
