Kaelan stumbled into the office, his eyes blazing with curiosity“What are you doing here? All of a sudden, you come out from the shadows and want to take charge of everything. What exactly do you want and tell me how much you know about the new secretary” Kaelan said.

“All these questions wouldn't be answered at the same time okay, so you tell me the one you want me to take first, and you are actually not amazed to see me,” Kade said.

Kaelan chuckled. “You expect me to be happy when you left without a word, and you want me to be amazed you are back. Tell me what you are here for? I mean, why are you back all of a sudden?” Kaelan asked.

“I want updates on the project's progress,” he demanded, his intensity captivating Kaelan.

“What were you even thinking? Did you just make demands, and you get it immediately? No, that's not how it works, brother. If truly you are so curious to know about the project, I think you should show it with more of your actions. I mean, if you want to know all about the companies' progress, you can come by and work with me in the company. There is still a space left for you” Kaelan said.

“Yes I came to the company to work with you, but it doesn't seem like you still need me around, I think I should just let go for you to handle” Kade said.

“I never said so, if you are serious about the company you are free to start coming immediately, we all would be happy to welcome you, but actually, you are not helping matter both of us were supposed to be running the company together but still, you always act ignorant when it comes to the company why is it so? You have to wake up and let's work together” Kaelan said.

As the room buzzed with activity, Rory found herself drawn to Kade's charisma. “What are you here for?” Kaelan asked.

“Earlier you asked me to bring any file to your table after every meeting, so here I am,” Rory said. She brought the file to him and left the office.

A part of her was still connected to what Kade would have told Kaelan; she wondered how did Kade find out about who she was? But the truth was yet to be revealed.

Kaelan's subtle warning glance didn't go unnoticed, and Rory wondered if she was caught in a power struggle between the brothers. Kade's gaze locked onto hers, leaving Rory with more questions than answers about her role in the mysterious Westfield project.

“I saw the way you looked at her. What is actually connected with the both of you?” Kael asked.

“I think you are about to find out, but you should know that it's going to be more interesting,” Kade said.

“Do you know what you are messing with? You are actually messing with the company affair. I need an explanation of what you know about her and I want to hear all of it immediately because I don't understand the fact you came to this company with a surge of crisis, tell me what you know” Kaelan yelled.

“What do you expect me to tell you when you wouldn't even ask for it politely? How arrogant are you? I have something important which you need to know about her, but the truth would only be said if you talk to me like a brother and not like a slave. I know for a fact that you are seen to be the eldest, but you are my twin brother and there is no difference between us. You get that” Kade said.

“Okay, let me sound polite with you. Look, I am just trying to get the truth behind her which you claim to have. I want to make this company a safer side for all of us and I wouldn't have it low if you're keeping secrets from me, I am my brother, and you need to tell me what you know about her. Because it seems so crucial I remember the name Westfield, but I can't recall how I'm connected to it, right when you mentioned it in the conference room I was so attached to it, tell me what concern does she have with the name?” Kaelan asked.

“Yes, that have a deep connection together, if you must know, she is the daughter of Mr. Westfield, the former co-director of this company before it was said that he committed suicide after loosing everything,” Kade said.

“What? I… Are you sure about what you are saying? Because how possible did you know about her and you didn't say anything about her still being alive or something” Kaelan said.

“I knew when I heard that there was a new worker in the company, so I had to come around and see if it was real. I looked into her information, and it was absolutely correct that she was the right person. I mean, she is his daughter, he is her biological father. You can confront her about it if you are doubting me, but you should still know that you have to leave her to still work in the company because if it is said to the press about he the case which is long gone might be brought up again so you have to think of a good plan in stopping it from happening” Kade said.

“I'm actually surprised about this information, but I would have to get confirmation from her and think of what to do to keep it away from the press. I really don't want my hard work to be shattered” Kaelan said.

“I know you would be able to handle it okay, just go to her and talk to her about it, confirm from her and if there is any challenge I would help you okay” Kade said. Kaelan nodded in agreement, showing appreciation for the crucial information he got about Rory.
