After the Discussion with Kade, Kaelan summoned Rory to his office, his expression serious.

Rory walked majestically towards Kaelan as he stared at her with an arrogant look." Be cautious around Kade," he advised, his voice low. “What do you mean?” Rory asked, her face with a glimpse of eagerness.

“Why do you expect me to mean to you meanwhile you know everything I'm talking about, you claim to be Aurora while you are at Westfield, what were you even thinking?” Kaelan asked. Rory, with the surge of shock, knew her time in this company was up already, but she still needed to act ignorant for a moment.

“What are you talking about?” She said her voice was shivering.

“Would you actually stand there and act ignorant that you don't seem to know the name Westfield? Who do you think you are? I really don't understand what you were thinking when you lied to me about your real identity, but right now, it's obvious that your dark secret has already come to light” Kaelan said, his voice high with range.

“Okay, let's be honest with each other. Now that you have found out about who I am, what are you going to do? Sack me out of the company? I know that you wouldn't afford to lose another secretary. The project is too important to you and I know that I'm also a key part of the project, so why are you going to chase me out now?” Rory said courageous, although he was still the boss.

“You still have the guts to talk back to me? Do you even recognize who you are talking to right now? I'm the CEO of this company, and you have no right to talk back to me. And for your information, that's not even the reason I wouldn't keep you out of the company already” Kaelan said, drawing the attention of Rory.

“Then what are your reasons?” She asked.

“Just know to keep it a secret, and you have to work with me to help this company. If the press finds out about you being Westfield, there is a case which would be brought up to life again, and I wouldn't want it to happen, just work with me okay” Kaelan said.

“I have no knowledge of what you are demanding from me. How can I work with you when I have no idea of what you are planning as to what is the case that would be brought up, to tell me how it concerns me?” She asked.

“I really don't think you would want to hear about something like this right now we should stay focused on the plan I have A clue of what I'm doing but at least you could help me solve matters despite the fact I know that I would surely regret working with you, I still don't want the Stone Enterprise to be a party of gossip” Kaelan said.

“You were still not answering my questions. What are your plans and how does any of it have to do with me? Get me into it, then I would consider to help” Rory said.

“What do you want me to say to you? I'm not a liar like you, okay, so I have everything under control if only you would accept to help me” Kaelan said.

“Do you actually know that your words to me are being so harsh right now? And possibly, it's my decision to make whether I would help you or not, but it seems it would be difficult to work with you” Rory said and was about to leave.

“You should be careful about Kade. He's unpredictable and often eager with his interests.” Rory listened intently, sensing a deeper tension between the brothers.

“What do you mean? I mean, he is your brother, and you know how to handle him. Why are you tutoring me about him?” Rory asked.

“Yes, he's my brother, but there is a spark of connection between the both of you after that conference meeting and I wouldn't want any office romance. You are here to work, not give feelings to anyone” Kaelan said.

“My private life has nothing to do with you, you should be telling this to your brother and not me. I am entitled to have feelings for whosoever I want to, and you are not the right person to talk to me about it, I'm still yearning to know what your plans are for me” Rory said.

“You actually don't know what you are into because if you do?” Kaelan continued. “Avoid getting drawn into it. I'm telling you all this because I really care about my family, and I wouldn't want any obstacle to come in between our bounds. He is my twin brother and I love him so much, be careful with him.”

“I get it, you are trying to keep me away because you think I would be a town between the both of you. But do you know what, I'm not concerned about what you both think about me? I just had an opportunity to work here with you. It doesn't give you the right to give me lectures about my private life. You should be careful next time, I respect the fact you are my boss, but you wouldn't tolerate the fact that you are moping around in my privacy” Rory said.

“Just get ready for the project ahead, get the file to the conference meeting. I want to see your work,” Kaelan said.

Rory nodded, but her curiosity was piqued. What secrets lay behind Kade, and why did Kaelan warn her away? There was more to his connection and I have to find what it's all about.
