"No!" I screamed as I tore out of one of the worst dreams I'd ever experienced.

I sat up, breathing heavily as if I had run an entire track meet in one go. My T-shirt was drenched in sweat.

I slowly lay back down on my pillow and closed my eyes. The dream was so vivid and so violent. I rarely had nightmares, but when I did, they never felt that real. I rubbed my stomach, feeling slightly ill at the memory of it. I could've sworn it had all been happening for real.
