I was not a big fan of the very reasonable voice in my head. Mostly because I knew it was right. It didn't matter what the explanation was. As far as everybody was concerned, I had tried to kill the Alpha who'd chosen me as his mate. That was supposed to be a great honor, something worth competing for in the Full Moon Games.
