“You did so good, Creed,” I whisper to my mate as we watch our babies sleep soundly in their bassinets, snuggled together.

“That means more to me than you’ll ever know,” he says quietly, looking at me with so much love in his eyes, "I missed you so much, Lily.”

“I missed you too…” I whisper back, “even if it only felt like a few hours for me.”

Creed chuckles, making me chuckle in return.
