By Tuesday morning, Ridgeville High had transformed.

Streamers in blue and silver hung everywhere. Posters with Go Panthers! covered the hallways. Someone’s speaker was blasting the fight song near the gym, and every third person had glitter on their face like we’d been attacked by a bedazzled raccoon.

Normally, all this spirit-week stuff made me feel invisible and… honestly, out of place.

But today?

It felt electric.

Maybe because I was different this week.
