With a cry, Durga slapped her hands together.

Clap!

The ground beneath Willow’s feet trembled. She lost her footing and fell to her hands and knees.

Thinking fast, Willow dug her hands into the earth. She magically grabbed a hold of nearby roots. She used her magic to control them. The roots shot up through the ground, surrounding Durga.

They swung at her. Willow stood up, and directed the roots, trying to get a hold of Durga’s wrists or ankles. ...
