Last night was horrible. I was sweating and had a terrible headache. It was like swearing off sex for the first time, only worse. Contrary to what people think, those of us with sex addiction also go through withdrawals. Some medications can help, but they only take the edge off.

I had gone to bed early after we got back from Doc’s. My head was pounding as I longed for Ava. Reading was impossible, so all I could do was lie in my bed and sweat it out.
