“How is she feeling?” I asked once madam Kimmy sat. She placed the tray of food on the table.

“She's asleep for now. I think it will last till night.”

I glanced at Jean's room, worried. “Is that normal? Leaving her to sleep through out the day like this?”

Her gaze softened, “Jean has an easy heat. It sends her into deep slumbers and the pain level fluctuates. The long sleep helps when the pain is at the maximum. When she finds her mate, the pain will reduce a lot ...
