A girl can call her fellow girl pet names, hug her when they meet, even kiss her on the lips or peck her, but the minute a guy does that, it's concluded; with no further inspections needed - he's gay, and not only is he gay, the other guy he calls pet names is also gay, and is automatically his boyfriend.
