I was angry about the whole thing, but I certainly couldn't do anything about it, not when Mom was involved. I picked up the iPad as Basil followed after Hunter out of the building and started checking my schedule for the day as I heard the car leaving. There wasn't much for the day, just a couple of meetings with the food factory and tech company, the rest was all paperwork at the office.
