Elena’s POV

The museum is supposed to be calm and quiet. A place where people lower their voices and pretend they care about learning something new but Prescott High ruins that idea in less than ten minutes.

The moment we step inside it turns into noise. Shoes slapping against stone floors. Kids yelling across rooms they should not be yelling in. Phones already out even though we were told not to. Teachers pretending this is all normal because correcting it would take effort.
