Three Months Later

Ginger stands in front of the full-length mirror, smoothing her hands over the soft lace of her bridal gown. The fabric hugs her gently, delicate patterns climbing over her skin. Her cheeks are flushed, and her heart beats from the weight of the ceremony about to unfold. She is about to be married to Hu forever.
