The world watched in silence.
Smoke curled above the stage lights, cameras flashing like hungry eyes. Aiden stood frozen, microphone trembling in his hand, his heart pounding louder than the cheering crowd. Across the stage, Lucien stood still, his silver gaze locked on Aiden’s not with love this time, but with a storm that could burn down heaven itself.
Their secret was no longer safe.
Someone had leaked the footage the one showing Lucien’s reflection disappearing in the mirror, and the faint mark on Aiden’s neck that could only be one thing: a vampire’s kiss.
The world’s favorite idol duo had just become its biggest scandal.
Backstage, chaos ruled. Security guards shouted, stylists cried, phones buzzed with breaking news headlines. Aiden pushed past everyone, his chest tight with fear and heartbreak.
He found Lucien standing in front of the mirror no reflection staring back, only empty glass.
“Tell me you didn’t do this,” Aiden said, voice shaking.
Lucien’s jaw tightened. “If I wanted to destroy us, I wouldn’t have saved your life a hundred times.”
Aiden’s voice broke. “Then who?”
Lucien turned slowly, his eyes glowing faintly red. “The Council knows, Aiden. The Elders found out about us.”
The words felt like a blade.
The Vampire Council, ancient and merciless, had forbidden relationships between humans and vampires for centuries. A love like theirs was not only dangerous; it was a death sentence.
Night fell heavily over the city. Rain whispered against the windows of their penthouse as Aiden sat alone on the couch, staring at the screen. News anchors dissected their every move “Lucien Vale, the mysterious pop star,” “rumors of immortality,” “Aiden Gray’s strange disappearance last month.”
The world wanted blood.
When the door opened, Aiden didn’t look up. “Are you here to say goodbye?”
Lucien stepped in, drenched, his black coat dripping water on the marble floor. “I’m here to make a choice,” he said softly.
Aiden turned, eyes glassy. “You think love is a choice?”
Lucien walked closer until only inches separated them. “For you, I’d fight every law written in blood.”
Their lips met desperate, aching, defiant. The kiss wasn’t gentle; it was war and surrender in one breath. Aiden clung to him like the world was ending, and maybe it was.
The lights flickered. A shadow moved outside the window.
Lucien pulled away, eyes flashing crimson. “They found us.”
The attack came fast. The windows shattered, and black cloaked vampires burst in on the Council’s enforcers. The air filled with the sound of wings and the hiss of fangs.
Lucien shoved Aiden behind him, his hand already glowing with dark fire. “Stay down!”
Aiden screamed his name, but Lucien was gone a blur of motion, a storm of violence. He fought with grace and fury, each movement a deadly dance. Sparks burned the air as his power exploded, sending enemies crashing into walls.
But there were too many.
Aiden grabbed the mic stand and swung it at one attacker, catching him by surprise. “You picked the wrong fanbase!” he shouted breathlessly, adrenaline surging.
Lucien laughed darkly, blood dripping from his lip. “Remind me to never underestimate you.”
They fought together, human and vampire, light and darkness, until the last enemy fell.
Silence.
Only the rain remained.
Lucien staggered, his shirt torn, his chest bleeding where silver blades had struck. Aiden caught him before he fell.
“No, no, stay with me,” Aiden begged.
Lucien smiled weakly. “You always did like dramatic finales.”
Aiden’s tears fell on his cheek. “Don’t you dare die now.”
Lucien’s hand reached up, brushing his face. “If I die… it’ll be for loving you too much.”
Hours later, they hid in an abandoned theater the same one where Lucien had once performed his first concert decades ago. The place smelled of dust and dreams.
Aiden patched Lucien’s wounds as best he could. “You’re healing slower,” he said quietly.
“The blades were blessed,” Lucien murmured. “I’ll be fine.”
Aiden looked at him pale, beautiful, broken.
“You shouldn’t have to fight the world for me.”
Lucien smiled faintly. “I already did. I just didn’t tell you.”
Silence hung heavy between them, the kind that carried words too dangerous to speak. Outside, sirens wailed as human authorities closed in on the chaos they’d left behind.
Aiden whispered, “What now?”
Lucien looked toward the empty stage, where a single spotlight still worked, flickering weakly. “Now,” he said, “we perform one last time.”
Aiden frowned. “What?”
Lucien stood, straightening his torn shirt. “If the world’s going to hunt monsters, let’s give them a show they’ll never forget.”
Hours later, social media exploded again.
The live broadcast appeared out of nowhere an unauthorized stream titled THE FINAL SHOW.
The feed opened in the old theater, lit in red. Aiden stood in front of the microphone, Lucien beside him, pale and regal like a fallen god.
Aiden spoke softly: “You want the truth? Here it is.”
He reached for Lucien’s hand and didn’t let go.
“This is real. Our music, our love, our chaos. You can hate it, but you’ll never erase it.”
Lucien’s eyes gleamed under the lights. “They called me a monster long before they knew my name. But tonight, I sing as a man for the one who made me feel alive.”
They began to perform.
It wasn’t just a song it was confession, rebellion, and heartbreak wrapped in melody. The lyrics bled honesty: “Even in darkness, your light found me. Even in death, your touch saves me.”
The world watched, spellbound.
As the last note faded, the police and Council agents surrounded the building. Aiden turned to Lucien. “We’ll never make it out.”
Lucien smiled a soft, tragic smile. “Maybe not alive. But forever remembered.”
He kissed him slowly, deeply, and eternally. The lights exploded into white, and the stream cut to black.
When dawn came, the city was silent.
No one found bodies only a pool of blood shaped like a heart on the stage.
Rumors spread. Some said they escaped. Others swore they saw two shadows flying over the city as the sun rose, hand in hand.
The world mourned and worshipped. Their final song hit a billion streams in one night.
Lucien Vale and Aiden Gray, the vampire and his idol, became legend.
And somewhere beyond the veil of night, in a place where music and blood meet, two souls sang again…
Forever.
