CHAPTER NINETEEN

Alessio's POV

The warehouse is still chaos, cops shouting, lights flashing, Elena's curses fading as they haul her into a squad car. Ivy's holding Michael and Mia so tight I'm surprised they can breathe, her face a mix of tears and steel. She's a lioness, ready to tear apart anyone who comes near her kids. I want to wrap my arms around all three of them, but her eyes burn with a warning: don't push me. Not yet.
