I woke up feeling like someone had set me on fire and forgot to tell me about it.

The feeling of burning was still there, that shitty constant heat under my skin that made everything feel wrong. I had gotten maybe three hours of sleep, then spent the rest of the night rolling around like a rotisserie chicken while my body threw the world’s most annoying tantrum.
