Selene POV

We walked through the gates of the compound, and I got my first real look at the territory beyond.

It was… not what I expected.

The land was healing, that much was obvious. Green shoots were pushing up through the previously dead earth. Trees were starting to recover, their branches showing new growth. The rift to the Void was sealed completely, leaving only a faint scar in the air where it had been.

But there was still so much damage.
