Selene POV

I woke up from sleep before dawn, my body felt stiff from sleeping in the same position all night. Morning light forced its way through the thick curtains.

Sylvester's side of the bed was empty...he was already up, probably preparing something to eat.

Perfect.

I dressed quickly in a simple day dress, something that wouldn’t draw much attention. Today I would get that key, and today I would finally read my mother’s book.
