Selene POV

I opened my eyes, finally ending the long dream once more. It was once again incomplete but I think I understand more what is going on.

My body hurts but not as badly as it did before.

Kael was sitting in a chair next to the bed. His eyes were closed as if he was asleep.

Why was he here? It seems like I am seeing him a lot these days and it’s getting on my nerves.
