"Please don't try to convince me otherwise."

I stared at my phone screen, a slight urge to scream. 

Hissing, I  tossed my phone on the desk carelessly. 

Apparently, I had been begging Antonio to go see his mother since the report of her getting into an accident was revealed online. 

She didn't look good. 

"Why do you care about someone who did you dirty? Someone who didn't want you to bear her grandchild?" A voice in my head asked.
