Melissa's POV

My legs bobbed up and down. Sweat dripping down from my hair to my face.

I didn't know if this was the right thing to do.

"Melissa R. Luca?" 

My head shot up and then my body followed suit. "Y-yes?" 

I bit my lips, trying to swallow the nausea. I clenched my fist, pulling myself together. I can do this. 

"She's stable and you can go in." The nurse smiled at me, handing me a nose mask.

I nodded, taking it nervously, my fingers trembling.
