Was I surprised my secret was out there?

Not at all.

Did I have anybody in mind to blame? 

I didn't. 

I couldn't even process shit well. I had ignored my mother's call because I knew she wanted to do the norms - explain herself, apologize or probably tell me how fake the news was and that whatever she told me years back was the main deal. 

I was tired of hearing that crap. That woman was no longer my mother, as far as I was concerned.
