They never did anything right.

I was always the one left to do it right and I was going to end it.

"You have 30 minutes to get here or else I'd kill your child." 

And the line went dead.

I pinched the bridge of my nose, looking at the woods over and over again. I checked my time and it was just 5 minutes to 30 minutes. 

I wasn't an entirely selfish mother or else, I'd let her kill Doris. Hell, Doris knew so much about me and I didn't trust her to keep her mouth shut.
