"What do you mean?" I raised my eyebrow at my mother who wasn't even sparing me a glance as she played with her silver wristwatch.

"Hunnie, we don't know what would be up Melissa's sleeve so it's better mum -" 

Before Doris could complete her sentence, I cut her off. "There's nothing up her sleeve. She's just helping the company and according to the contract we signed with her company, after the company is up on its feet, she's gone"
