Work was a welcome distraction from my disaster of a personal mm life.

At least here, I could focus on something simple. Customers. Sales. Inventory. Things that made sense.

“Earth to Eva.” Claire waved a hand in front of my face. “You’ve been folding that same scarf for five minutes.”

“Sorry. Distracted.”

“I can see that.” She grabbed the scarf, refolding it properly. “Want to talk about it?”
