“Lorien,” Rhael called after me, but Auren’s hand slid to the small of my back and steered me forward, keeping me facing the corridor as we moved toward the conference room on the first floor. I had no intention of turning to look at him.

“Lorien,” Rhael tried again as Auren pushed the door open for me. “This is ridiculous you know that, right? The way you’ve been behaving is out of control.”
