Lorien POV

The moment Rhael walked out, air finally returned to my lungs sharp, uneven, almost painful.

Corvin had stepped aside to let him pass, his lips pressed tight in disgust, and then moved out himself, leaving the door wide open but at least giving me a sliver of privacy to get dressed.
