"Wait what are you saying?" Lorien asked, and I could see where Riven was steering the conversation; I just couldn't fathom how it would work.

"Once you visit the Source, we'll know for sure," Riven insisted, exhaustion from the night evaporating from his features. He didn't take his eyes off my woman, and if I wasn't bound by our agreement with the Queen, I would have gladly erased the smugness from his face with my fist.

"I told you I'm not going anywhere!" Lorien snapped.
