"Because he’s going to want babies," Olyssia groaned, tipping her head back in exasperation.

My lips parted, startled by her reasoning. It wasn’t strange for someone to not want children, but refusing a relationship altogether because of it? That didn’t make sense to me. People could still be happy together without having kids. Surely, there had to be a man out there who fit all of Olyssia’s impossible standards and didn’t want children either.
