Olyssia hadn’t exactly rolled out a warm welcome, not that I’d expected her to. The entire walk through the store, she kept shooting me sharp, suspicious glances like she was just waiting for me to crack open and spill every secret I had. With guards flanking us and members of the Dark Blade Pack lingering nearby, her scrutiny felt like a spotlight I couldn’t step out of.
