When Sigourney and Venus had returned to the hotel for about an hour,

A snowstorm broke out,

The sky turned a blinding white from the swirling snowflakes.

Sigourney clicked her tongue; it was fortunate, indeed, that they hadn't managed to catch a flight today, as it would have been truly dangerous.
