Aria's POV

When I got up there, Jameson turned to the crowd and raised the mic with a grin.

“My wife is kinda shy,” he said, looking at me with a teasing glint in his eyes. “But lucky for her, she married the unshy one.”

The crowd burst into laughter. I couldn’t help but smile too, heat rushing to my cheeks again.

He took my hand and whispered, “You good?”

I nodded. “Still trying to breathe.”

He brought me closer and kissed my cheek gently. “I’ve got you.”
