Aria’s POV

Lying on my bed, I stared at my phone screen for a while, a sheepish smile on my lips. I glanced at the wall clock, past 11 PM, I heaved a sigh before finally typing out a message.

“Are you asleep already?” I texted Mia, biting my lips anxiously. I was inwardly hoping and praying for her to respond soon.

And ding! Her response come in shortly.
