After leaving Aria at the therapist center, my fingers tightened around my phone. I had been trying to suppress the gnawing irritation growing inside me since this morning, but it was no use. I had seen the message. Even upside down, I recognized the sender’s name starting with an "N."

I didn’t need a damn soothsayer to tell me who it was Nicholas. That little detail burned in my mind.
