Aria's POV

After I got home, I headed straight to the shower. The warm water running down my body should’ve been relaxing, but it did little to calm my mind. I kept thinking about what happened today and it all left a sour taste in my mouth.

After that, I joined my evening online class. I kept zoning out, my fingers resting on the keyboard not typing anything.

“Focus, Aria,” I whispered to myself, sighing.
