Aria's POV

I pushed the station door open with shaky hands, Mia trailing behind me. My heart had been racing since that phone call.

“Hi, I’m the person you called few minutes ago,” I said to the lady behind the desk.

She barely looked at me. Just pointed lazily to another table across the room. Rude. But I didn’t have time to complain. I hurried over to the next officer, trying to gather my breath as I spoke.
