Arthur appeared at my door early in the morning, dressed casually in dark jeans and a simple shirt. I'd never seen him look so relaxed.

"Where?"

"Somewhere away from here. Away from all this." He gestured vaguely toward the pack house. "Just you and me."

I hesitated. I still didn't trust him, though he saved me yesterday from serpahina.

"Aurora, please. Give me a few hours. That's all I'm asking."
