I spend the next few hours, worrying endlessly.

Lucas's words, giving me a bitter headache. I already have a lot on my plate, and now this?

I try to call Lucas, it rings for a few torturous seconds. The wait getting to me, I throw my phone on the pillow lightly. Groaning in annoyance.
