I was surprised at how rested I felt this morning. I was so worried I’d wake up groggy and hung over for work, but to my surprise, I felt amazing. I turned off my alarm on the nightstand and laid in silence for a bit.

It was six-thirty and the sun was just high enough to shine through my window. The early morning hues of pinks and blues made the sky look like cotton candy and I found myself daydreaming about last night.
