Ethan called Mayor Pippins on the way back to his place. He put him on speaker while he tore off his jacket.

“I don’t care what she offered.” Ethan said, angrily. “Don’t sell it yet.”

“I haven’t.” Mayor Pippins was obviously nervous. “But what do I do? She’s offering enough money to repave every street in Greenbrooke.”
