I run.

My feet hit sand, then rocks, then sand again. My lungs burn from all this frantic running, I look like a psycho on lose.

Trees rush past me while sharp branches continue to gnaw at my arms.. I do not stop. I do not look back.

The forest finally opens, and I spot the shore.
