“What’s your name?” I finally ask, trying t change the topic.

He goes quiet for a moment. Then, without saying anything else, he takes off his mask.

“Adrian Vale.” He says, but continues to stride towards me. I back away from him until I hit the wall.

His name doesn’t sound familiar at all. It doesn’t sound familiar, but the way he says it makes it feel important, like I’m supposed to recognize it. I don’t question it though, I simply nod my head and move on.
