Six months later…

Nervously, I extend my photo ID to the desk clerk to prove my relation to Ian. The staff member taps several keys on his computer, pauses for a moment, then hands me a sticker name badge to wear. It identifies me as a visitor and gives my full name. I follow his directions, stepping through the door when I hear the buzzer sound to unlock it.

Although he gave me specific directions, I didn’t listen. And now I have no real idea of what the hell ...
