Each day, I thank God that Lewis returned to assist me with Ian. Before he moved in, the only interactions I had were with Ian, and Ian’s doctors and nurses. They suggested I attend support groups, but I had no one to care for Ian and couldn’t risk exposing him to germs if he attended with me.
